Mr. Vo Anh Trung graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He has 33 years of experience in the finance sector and expertise in the fields of IT analysis and planning. During his 33-year career, Mr. Trung has held many important positions and responsibilities, such as Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics and Director of the Information Technology Department of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam.

During his career, Mr. Trung was one of the first officers of the Management Board of the IT Program, the precursor to today’s Department of Informatics and Financial Statistics. He has contributed to the development of many key IT systems for the finance sector, such as personnel management, emulation and commendation systems, and document management. His efforts have greatly contributed to the digital transformation of the finance sector.

The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) is gradually completing its IT infrastructure to ensure the implementation and operation of IT application systems and the SSC’s centralized database systems. This process includes investing in modern and synchronized systems that align with the development of new technologies from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In addition to developing IT infrastructure, the SSC places great emphasis on ensuring cybersecurity and information security. The SSC implements high-level security solutions (at both the database and application levels) capable of detecting and addressing information security vulnerabilities, protecting IT systems from network attacks (especially from the Internet), preventing data loss through the network, and generating reports to serve the analysis and assessment of cybersecurity.
