BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Duong Tat Toan is currently Chief Technology Officer of the Government Division at FPT IS, FPT Corporation.

Mr. Toan joined FPT in 2006, after more than 7 years working for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he built IT systems to support disaster management and mitigation.

With over 20 years of experience implementing and consulting on IT systems in Vietnam and internationally, Mr. Toan has deep expertise in the Public Finance, Tax, Customs, and Treasury sectors, along with experience deploying digital transformation systems at the national, ministerial, and local levels. He holds numerous technology certifications and is one of the few Vietnamese experts to hold the TOGAF certification in enterprise IT architecture.

In the context of the introduction of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 214/NQ-CP, Mr. Toan has served as “Chief Architect” of the FPT for a Digital Nation program, working alongside ministries and sectors to implement the National Data Strategy, contributing to the design consulting for National Data Center No. 1, co-developing the National Data Architecture Framework, and providing data strategy consulting for the National Data Center — thereby contributing to FPT’s mission of mastering technology in service of the nation.
