TOPIC
Trends of Big Data Analytics and Use Cases in the Tax and Financial Sector
ABSTRACT
Big Data Analytics is driving significant transformation in the tax industry. Instead of relying on traditional data, the industry is using big data and machine learning technology to create opportunities and address challenges. Opportunities include optimizing tax processes, helping businesses and individuals minimize tax costs, and reducing tax risks. Machine learning and artificial intelligence are applied to detect tax fraud, assess tax credit scores, determine tax havens for businesses, and forecast taxes to help taxpayers estimate future tax costs. However, processing and storing large amounts of data require complex systems and infrastructure. To realize these opportunities, the industry needs personnel with tax knowledge and data analysis skills.
